Leather Crafts International is committed to delivering products that meet your specification. This page outlines our quality assurance process and defect return policy for B2B orders.

Quality Assurance Process

Every order goes through a multi-stage quality inspection:

Material inspection: Incoming leather and hardware are checked for defects, colour consistency, and thickness before production begins. In-process checks: Cutting accuracy, stitching quality, edge finishing, and alignment are verified during assembly. Final QC: Each finished product is inspected for cosmetic defects, functionality (zips, snaps, card slots), and measurement accuracy. Pre-shipment photography: Representative samples from each batch are photographed and shared with you for approval before dispatch.

Defect Return Policy

We accept returns for manufacturing defects under the following conditions:

Window: Defect claims must be raised within 15 days of delivery. Scope: Covers manufacturing defects only — stitching failures, material flaws not visible during QC, hardware malfunctions, incorrect branding, or sizing errors. Process: Contact us at info@leathercraftsinternational.com with photographs of the defective items, your order reference, and a description of the issue. Resolution: We review the claim within 2 business days and offer replacement production, credit, or other resolution as appropriate.

What Is Not Covered

Normal wear and tear, colour variations inherent to natural leather, buyer-approved samples that were confirmed before bulk production, and damage caused during transit (covered by shipping insurance) are not covered under our defect policy.

Sampling & Approval Process

The best way to prevent quality issues is a thorough sampling process. We provide pre-production samples for your approval before starting bulk manufacturing. Any concerns about material, colour, construction, or branding are resolved at the sampling stage — before your investment in bulk production.
