Frequently Asked Questions
Our FAQ page answers the most common questions from importers, distributors and private‑label brands regarding minimum order quantities, lead times, customisation, sampling, and international shipping. If you have a question not covered here, please contact us.
MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)
How is the MOQ determined?
MOQ depends on the product type, leather selection and customisation requirements. Basic models using common materials can have lower minimums, while bespoke designs or rare leathers may require higher quantities. Share your preferred model or design along with a quantity range so we can advise a practical MOQ.
Can MOQ vary by material or colour?
Yes. Standard colours and leathers typically have lower MOQs because they are readily available. Custom colours, finishes or exotic leathers are produced in larger batches, which affects the feasible MOQ. We will discuss these details during your enquiry.
Lead Times
What are your sampling lead times?
Sampling lead times for wallets and small leather goods are typically 1–2 weeks once specifications are finalised. For larger bags or unique designs, sampling can take longer due to pattern development and material sourcing. We confirm the sampling timeline after reviewing your brief.
What is the typical production lead time?
Bulk production lead time is confirmed after sampling. It depends on order volume, material readiness and our current schedule. As a general guideline, standard wallets and accessories can be produced in 4–6 weeks after sample approval, whereas complex designs may require more time. We provide an estimated delivery window when we quote.
Private Label & Customisation
What customisation options do you offer?
We offer a wide range of customisation options including leather type and finish, colours, stitching thread, edge finishing, lining materials, hardware plating and logo placement (embossing, debossing or foil stamping). Packaging and labelling can also be customised to meet your brand guidelines. Feasibility is confirmed for each option during our discussion.
Can you work with my own design?
Yes. If you provide a technical pack or reference images with dimensions, materials and branding specifications, we can develop samples accordingly. We will review your design to confirm feasibility and suggest any adjustments needed for production.
Sampling Process
Is sampling mandatory before bulk production?
Sampling is highly recommended to ensure the product meets your expectations in terms of look, feel, measurements and branding placement. It allows us to address any changes before moving into mass production, saving time and cost in the long run.
Do sampling charges apply?
Sampling charges depend on the complexity of the design and materials. These charges are usually reimbursable against your subsequent bulk order. We provide a clear breakdown of sampling costs as part of the quotation.
Shipping & Exports
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship worldwide including the USA, European Union, UK, Middle East, Africa, North America, South America and Australia. Shipments can be organised via air or sea freight according to your cost and delivery requirements.
What documents are included with export shipments?
We provide a commercial invoice, packing list and shipping documents required by your forwarder or customs. If you need any specific documentation (e.g., REACH, CPSIA or other compliance certificates), let us know during the enquiry so we can include the necessary paperwork.
Product Sourcing & Quotations
What information should I share for a bulk quotation?
Share product type or model code, quantity range, destination country, preferred material/leather, colour, branding method and packaging requirements. If you have a tech pack or reference image, include it for faster feasibility review.
How is MOQ decided for OEM leather goods?
MOQ depends on the model, material availability and customisation (colours, hardware and packaging). If you share your target quantity range, we confirm what is practical for that specification.
Do you provide samples before bulk production?
Sampling is typically used to confirm look, feel, measurements, branding placement and packaging details before bulk planning. The exact sampling steps depend on the product and the clarity of your specification.
What customisation is possible for private label orders?
Common options include colour and finish selection, lining, stitching thread, edge finishing, branding placement (emboss/deboss) and buyer-specified packaging/labels. Feasibility is confirmed case by case.
What leather or material options can you work with?
Material options are aligned to the buyer brief (type, finish, thickness, colour). If you have a target leather name or performance requirement, include it so we can confirm options during quotation and sampling.
Do you support compliance requirements (REACH / CPSIA)?
We can align the enquiry to your destination market requirements and discuss what documentation or testing you need for your product category. Buyers should share their specific compliance requirements and test standards during enquiry.
What export documents are typically used?
Export documentation is coordinated based on the shipment method and buyer/forwarder requirements. Common documents include commercial invoice, packing list and shipping/forwarder paperwork, with product descriptions aligned to buyer instructions.
Are lead times guaranteed?
Lead times are indicative on the website and are confirmed per enquiry based on specification, quantity, sampling needs and current schedule.
Do you offer OEM and ODM services?
Yes. We provide both OEM (manufacturing based on your designs/specifications) and ODM (our own designs) services. Share your requirements so we can determine the best approach for your brand.
What types of leather goods do you manufacture?
We manufacture a wide range of leather products including men's and women's wallets, card holders, belts, crossbody bags, sling bags, backpacks and small accessories. We also support custom designs for corporate gifting and private label collections.
Can you support high‑volume or repeat programmes?
Absolutely. We regularly manage large orders for wholesalers, retail chains and private label brands. Once your sample is approved and specifications are locked, we can schedule high‑volume runs with consistent quality control, export packing discipline and on‑time shipping for repeat programmes.
