What custom manufacturing involves
Custom manufacturing means we build products to your exact specification rather than offering pre-made items from stock. Every aspect of the product is configurable: materials, dimensions, construction, colour, hardware, branding placement, lining, and packaging.
This is different from modifying a catalog model (which we also support). Custom manufacturing starts with your design — whether that is a sketch, a reference photo, a tech pack from your designer, or even a competitor's product that you want to reinterpret with your own materials and branding.
Custom development process
- Design brief: You share your product concept — photos, sketches, technical drawings, or a tech pack. Include target dimensions, material preferences, functionality requirements, and branding details.
- Feasibility review: We review the design for manufacturability, suggest material options, and flag any construction challenges. If modifications would improve durability or reduce cost, we recommend them.
- Costing: We provide a per-unit price based on the confirmed specification and target quantity range.
- Prototype development: A first prototype is produced. This may involve 1–2 revision rounds before the final sample is approved. Prototype cost and timeline are confirmed upfront.
- Bulk production: Production runs against the approved prototype as the quality reference.
- Delivery: Quality inspection, packing, and shipment coordination.

MOQ for custom products
Custom products typically have a higher MOQ than catalog models because of the development investment involved. Standard MOQ for custom development is 100–200 units per design per colour. For simpler modifications to existing catalog models (e.g., different colour, different branding), MOQ can be as low as 50 units.
